Dark ‘N Stormy Drumsticks


Just like its cocktail counterpart this flavorful, exotic, drumstick recipe gets its unique taste from the combination of lime, sugar cane (molasses) and ginger only this time packed with a little punch!

Place drumsticks in a sealable container and add wet ingredients (coconut oil, lime juice & molasses).

Smash garlic either using a mortar and pestle or by chopping and pressing down on the garlic with the side of your knife. Add to chicken mixture.

Finely chop flat leaf parsley and add to chicken mixture.

Add remaining dry ingredients to the chicken mixture.

Cover and shake to distribute dry ingredients throughout. Store covered, in the refrigerator for 4-24 hours, tossing occasionally.

Oil grill w/ coconut oil and heat grill to medium heat.

Place drumsticks directly on the grate, cook 6-8 minutes and then turn. Chicken should be fully cooked to 165 degrees (approximately 20 minutes depending on grill temp).
