• 2 tablespoons Organic Valley Ghee (or leftover bacon grease)
• *1 yellow onion, diced
• *1 medium green cabbage, cored and shredded
• *Juice from ½ a large lemon
• ¼ teaspoon Bourbon Barrel Foods Smoked Paprika
• Salt and pepper
In a large cast iron skillet, melt the ghee over medium-high heat.
Add the onion and sauté until translucent and beginning to caramelize, 8-10 minutes.
Stir in the cabbage and continue to sauté until cabbage is wilted and cooked through, another 8-10 minutes.
Squeeze in juice from lemon and sprinkle with smoked paprika. Stir to combine. Remove from heat and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper. Serves 4-6
