Dressing: Add all the ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor or blender. Process or blend the ingredients while slowly adding the olive oil in a steady stream.
Salad: Using your hands, massage the dressing into the kale and allow to sit for 10-15 minutes; kale should become tender. Divide the salad into 6 servings and top with strawberries, almonds, and sliced basil.
