Smoked Pork Chops with Maple-Chili Mop Sauce

Directions

Smoking Goose’s Smoked Pork Chops are full cooked and ready to use right out of the package. Make a five minute dinner that tastes like you slaved all day by putting a quick sear and a sweet-savory mop sauce on these Smoked Pork Chops. Serve with roasted potatoes, grilled asparagus, fresh watermelon slices, or a bright salad.

Cooking Directions:

Remove the Smoked Pork Chops from their packaging and let rest at room temp.

Combine all the ingredients for the mop sauce in a bowl and mix well.  Set aside.

Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat or warm your grill. Sear the pork chops to a golden brown on one side. Flip and allow the other side to sear. Meanwhile, mop the chops with the sauce several times. When the second side is golden brown, flip and mop with sauce as well.

Remove the chops from the heat and allow to rest on a plate tightly covered with tin foil for 3-5 minutes.

Uncover, drizzle with mop sauce, and serve.

1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
