Hawaiian-Style Hamburgers

Mix ground beef with tamari and form into 4 patties. Set aside.

Brush pineapple and red bell pepper rounds with half of the butter and season with salt and pepper.

Heat grill to medium-high heat and grill the pineapple and bell peppers until they have nice grill marks on both sides. Remove and set aside.

Add the burgers to the grill and cook 3-5 minutes per side, depending on preferred doneness (130 degrees for medium-rare, 140 degrees for medium). Add the provolone cheese during the last minute on the second side. Remove burgers from grill and set aside, loosely cover with tented aluminum foil.

Using the remaining butter, brush the cut sides of the hamburger buns and grill for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.

Assemble burgers: bun, burger, pineapple, red bell pepper, lettuce, red onion, mayo on top bun.
