Pigs in a Blanket

A new vendor at Green Bean Delivery is Teton Waters Ranch. They provide 100% grass-fed beef hot dogs, sausages, and meatballs that are free of hormones, antibiotics, nitrites and nitrates. Their cattle live and eat the way nature intended—creating a healthy and sustainable ecosystem of cattle ranching. When I saw the mini hot dogs, I knew my kids were going to be excited. Here’s a recipe for pigs in a blanket, a perfect party food and such fun for kids to help make!


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Pop open a container of Immaculate Baking Crescent Rolls and unroll the dough. Separate into eight pieces. I cut each piece in half, so I ended up with 16 triangle pieces.
  3. Place a mini hot dog on the dough so that it is lined up with one of the long edges.
  4. Roll the dough around the hot dog towards the point of the triangle.
  5. Set on an ungreased baking sheet. There are roughly 19 mini hot dogs per package, so I tossed the three extra hot dogs on the baking sheet and let them bake without a blanket.
  6. Bake in the oven for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
