1 pound green beans, ends removed
2 tablespoons melted butter
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Salt and ground black pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and adjust oven rack to middle position. Line a rimmed baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Arrange the green beans on the baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter over the beans and toss with hands to coat evenly. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Roast for 20 minutes, tossing halfway. Beans will start to shrivel and become spotted brown when they are ready. Squeeze with fresh lemon, taste for seasoning, and serve immediately.
