Turkey and Cheddar Sliders


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine the ground turkey, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Using your hands, mix thoroughly then press into a flat, even layer at the bottom of the dish. Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Using a spatula, remove the meat in one piece and set aside. Drain the liquid that accumulated in the casserole dish.
  • Slice the mini buns in half lengthwise. Place the bottom halves in the casserole dish. Place the cooked turkey over the top then layer with onions, cheese slices, and the mini bun tops. Brush the tops of the mini buns with the melted butter and sprinkle the salt packets (it comes in the packages of the mini buns) on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are warmed throughout.
  • Slice into individual sliders and serve. Yields 12 sliders
